An Easter Tradition

I come from an extremely large family. I am the oldest of 21 grandchildren on my mom's side. So, I'm sure you can imagine what it's like when we all get together for holidays and birthdays. One such day was Sunday. For more than 20 years, (I'm 26 now) my family and I have been attending a Palm Sunday Easter egg hunt and brunch at the Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta, N.J. Afterward, as tradition has it, we go back to my grandfather's house, where we hold our own egg hunt, have dinner and of course, enjoy each other's company. For the past few years, I've been taking advantage of these times together and using the opportunities to improve my digital photo skills. Of course, it's also always great to capture fun, family photos. This year, the weather was gorgeous, which made for a terrific day! Here are some of my favorite shots:

Joseph, 4, the youngest of the grandchildren

Alexandra, 6, Joseph's sister

Jeffrey, 19,

The Maydans: Jeff and his girlfriend Amanda; Lisa; Uncle Russ; Aunt Susan, and Danny and his girlfriend Samantha

Julie, 7, my favorite model :)

Sisters Gina and Diana

Nicole, 20

Julie and her mom, my Aunt Debbie

Amanda, 10, Debbie's oldest daughter

What would an Easter blog be without a bunny photo? (Taken at the petting zoo at the country club brunch)
